RM LATVIA sports karting team drivers have been competing in various categories for 8 years in Latvian, Baltic, and European-level championships, achieving prize-winning positions across different teams.

As the most titled, recognizable, and highest-level karting athlete from Latvia in Europe, it is worth mentioning Tomass Stolcermanis, who is currently competing in formula racing. Tomass inspires not only the team’s drivers but also other young people, and according to his racing schedule, he participates in RM LATVIA-organized camps in Kandava, Jelgava, and Biķernieki.

Within the RM LATVIA karting school, participants learn basic driving skills, gain knowledge about kart structure, and understand rules of competitions at various levels. Most importantly, they develop the skills needed to achieve the fastest driving line and the best lap times.

To reach this goal, camp participants learn proper braking techniques - one of the most essential components of a fast lap. This includes braking without sliding, maintaining speed, braking at the correct point, and returning to acceleration with minimal time loss. This is only a part of what participants learn during the camp.

Karting has always been the starting point for many Latvian and international motorsport athletes, as it is possible to begin as early as the age of 5. Karting is the safest technical sport for young children.

The organizers have more than 15 years of experience in running karting schools, and the team includes experienced, titled instructors with high-level racing experience.

All participants will have the opportunity to get to know the RM LATVIA team and feel like part of a professional racing team. As part of the program, one day is spent on track driving professional racing karts, giving participants a particularly high adrenaline experience.

On the final day of the camp, a competition takes place, where parents and relatives are invited as supporters. The day includes practice sessions, qualification, semi-finals, finals, and, of course, an award ceremony.

Throughout the camp, participants not only drive karts but also improve their physical fitness through morning exercises, reaction training, strength and endurance activities, agility tasks, team games, yoga, and other physical activities.

In addition to karting, the program includes:
• Knowledge about healthy and balanced nutrition — we are what we eat
• Goal-setting skills and building self-confidence while maintaining composure and handling external triggers, improving focus and achieving objectives
• Proper sauna practices and understanding the value of sauna use
• Body massage as part of maintaining a healthy body and mind
• Excursions and adventure activities
• Creative workshops
• Yoga or meditation
• Meeting a well-known guest in Latvia who will motivate and inspire participants through their life experience

This is not just a karting school - it is a comprehensive physical and mental development program led by a professional team. During the week, participants not only learn how to drive fast but also gain essential skills for a healthy mind and body. Daily progress is visible in every participant.

Many young people continue their journey in various Latvian and Baltic rental karting championships (Openkart.lv, Discomania.lv) and achieve high results. This May, 4 participants from our karting school will compete in the world championship in rental karting - an unprecedented achievement and a great source of pride for our team.

Young people who are approaching the age to become drivers gain significantly more confidence, develop a strong feel for vehicles, and are able to perform multiple actions simultaneously. This is a valuable investment in safe driving and stronger driving skills.

• Kandava, “Kandava Kartodroms” — August 17-22
